The store itself is decent however I am giving it such low ratings due to the lack of customer service. Everyone who works there is very nice but upper management allows their employees to park in the front of the parking lot, which I find odd considering what a nightmare that parking lot is. AND they allow their employees to smoke cigarettes nearly right outside the front door! No one is really around if you ever need help finding something, I walk around and around and around looking for someone to help me. Employees have seen me struggling to find something and don't bother to ask if they can assist me they just go about their business. I find it odd that there is such a lack of common customer service but I think everyone in the valley is just used to it and knows nothing will change.
I have shopped at this store for 14 years as I Iive close and it is convenient. I spend a lot of money at that store and I am finally fed up with their horrible customer services from the floor people, to the deli, to the checkout people. They are not much for saying hello, bagging groceries, or helping you find what you need. Stocking seems to be a real problem as the vendors take up most of the aisles when shopping. Willi in particular at the checkout is so surly and acts as if you are putting him out when you check out. If he has to help you bag your groceries, then you have created a real problem for him. I will be taking my shopping to Carbondale even if it is a longer drive and less selection.
Good location, tight confines. Parking can be a chore, best to walk here.
Although the space has almost become overrun with anxious and lost tourists, giving it more of a 7 Eleven feel than a Whole Foods, they do a credible job of offering all your grocery needs. Friendly, helpful staff. Doesn't hurt to speak Spanish
